Preview Collections

You need to publish a Collection so students can purchase and access it. To do this, preview the Collection to ensure it is complete and sequenced correctly. Make any necessary changes to the Collection as you review it.

To preview a Collection you've created, select Edit Collection and then Preview or select the Collection's title.

To exit the viewer, use the x button in the top right corner.

When you preview a Collection you've created, you can show the Collection's Table of Contents (TOC), a list of bookmarks, a list of notes and highlights, or a list of search results on the left side of the preview player. The exact content that appears depends on your selection.

To preview content from the Table of Contents, select the item's title.

To add, edit, or remove the notes, bookmarks, and highlights in a Collection, display the preview player's left tray by clicking the Actions menu icon and refer to Bookmarks, notes, and highlights.

Other controls in the preview player work identically regardless of the type of Collection you are previewing.

To page through a text-based resource, use one of the following methods:

  • Move the slider to the left or right to locate a specific page.
  • Enter the exact page number you want to see in the Page field.
  • Click in the Page field to view the arrow buttons; click the top arrow to move to the next page and click the bottom arrow to move to the previous page.
  • Use the arrow keys at the bottom right.

To change the magnification of a resource, select a magnification percentage from the list. For example, to see a resource at 50% magnification, select 50% from the list. You can also zoom in and out one level of magnification by clicking the magnifying glass, as the following image shows.
