How students enroll in a MediaShare course

Students access MediaShare the same way you do. In the MyLab they click the MediaShare menu command and then click the Enter button. If students need to log in to MediaShare, they use the same username and password they use to log in to the MyLab.

However, once students are in MediaShare they must enroll in a course before they can do any work.

• The first time a student logs in, MediaShare displays a large Enroll in Courses button. The student clicks the button, enters the MediaShare course ID, and clicks the Add button.
• For subsequent logins and to enroll in additional courses, the student clicks the Enroll in Courses link on the Home page, enters the MediaShare course ID, and clicks the Add button.

You must give your students the MediaShare course IDs so they can enroll. A couple of ways to distribute the IDs are to send them from an email in the MyLab or to post the IDs in an announcement on the MyLab Course Home page.
