MediaShare offers rubrics that you and your students can use when reviewing assignment submissions. There are default rubrics that you can use as is or customize, and you can build your own rubrics from scratch.
Rubrics are available across all your MediaShare assignments in all courses. You can create rubrics before you create an assignment, or create the assignment first and later add a rubric.
There are two types of rubrics: instructor and peer review.
An assignment can have both an instructor and peer-review rubric. When an assignment has an instructor rubric, each student can see your scores and comments for just himself or herself.
Using rubrics is optional, and you can choose to use rubrics for some assignments and not for others.
