Add supporting materials

Supporting materials are videos, documents, and/or links that you want to share with your students. These are typically materials that provide additional clarity to the purpose of a MediaShare course or assignment.

When you add supporting materials to a course, students have access to the materials as soon as they enter the course. If you add supporting materials to an assignment, students can review them as they work on the assignment.

You have access to course materials from the Home page and the My Courses page.

MediaShare lists the video materials first, then documents followed by links. You cannot change this order. However, you can change the order in which the individual videos, documents, and links are listed.

Before recording or uploading videos, make sure to review Videos in MediaShare and Video size and upload times.

You can add supporting materials when you create or edit a course or assignment. The starting point is the Create a Course or the Create an Assignment page as described in the first procedure below. Then refer to the remaining procedures to add videos, documents, or links and to reorder and delete support materials. Click a procedure's link to display its steps.
