You can use a cell phone, camera, or webcam device to record a video. You can upload a video file or use a webcam device to both record and upload the video to MediaShare in one process. Whichever method you use, make sure to:

MediaShare accepts the following video file formats: .flv, .asf, .qt, .mov, .avi, .wmv, .mp4, .f4v, .mpeg, .mxf, .rm, and .3gp.

Pearson recommends that you keep your videos under 500 MB (a 500 MB video is approximately 10 minutes in length). This helps keep the uploading and processing times from becoming too long.

Regardless of the video size, be patient when uploading videos. MediaShare's average upload time is on a par with uploading videos to YouTube.
