MediaShare is an environment where you can practice delivering speeches. You can use your computer, phone, or any device with a webcam to create and upload a video. By recording and uploading your speeches and by evaluating and commenting on your classmates' work, you can experiment and learn at the same time.

Even though MediaShare is much like a social networking site, your instructor can choose to monitor and approve all comments, videos, and documents before they are published. For your privacy, you can flag a submission as viewable by the entire class, only a specific group of students, or only by the instructor.

You must first enroll (at no extra cost) in a MediaShare course to gain access to its assignments. You can then upload your assignment submissions and view your classmates' submissions. To get started with MediaShare:

Note: There is no exchange or synchronization of information between a MediaShare and a MyLab course. The MediaShare courses, assignments, rubrics, submissions, and grades reside only in MediaShare. However, your instructor can opt to add MediaShare grades to the MyLab's Gradebook; check with your instructor for more information.
