Working with File Paths

From the File Paths page, you specify the path where each type of media asset is located. In the hotspot property panel, you can use a relative path to designate the location of a particular asset. This allows you to specify the current server or location of media assets without requiring any re-authoring of media links.

To specify central storage locations for SWF and assets files:

  1. From Authoring Home, select or search for an eText.
  2. From the Authoring menu, click Specify SWF and Asset File Paths.
  3. Enter paths in URL format (http:// followed by host name and path) for the SWF and asset files used in this eText. You can specify the asset file paths for the following:

Note: The iPad application does not support SWF and FLV files.

  • audio text synch
  • chromelessurl
  • flv
  • H264
  • image
  • mp3
