Working with Bookmarks
Bookmarking a page in an eText is similar to inserting a bookmark in a book. You mark specific pages in the book so you can easily find those pages at a later time.
Pages in an eText that you bookmark are listed in the Bookmarks list in the left navigation pane. Not all users will have bookmarking capabilities in their eText.
Adding and Deleting a Bookmark
If your eText provides a Bookmark Page button on the toolbar, you can add new bookmarks to the Bookmark list in the left navigation pane and delete existing bookmarks.
To bookmark a page:
- Navigate to the page in the eText that you want to bookmark.
- Click the Bookmark Page button.
When you bookmark a page:
- The Bookmark Page button gets highlighted with a white border and remains highlighted as long as the page is bookmarked.
- The page number is added to the Bookmarks page in the left navigation pane (if present).
- The top right corner of the page is folded down (curled over).
To delete a bookmark:
- Navigate to the page in the eText that you want to remove from the Bookmark list.
- Click the Bookmark Page button.
When you delete a bookmark:
- The Bookmark Page button in the toolbar is not highlighted anymore and loses its white border.
- The page number is removed from the Bookmarks list in the left navigation pane (if present).
- The page fold in the top right corner disappears.
