Navigate the eTextbook

When you open an eTextbook in a web browser, it usually shows your last page view, unless you've been directed to specific content from an assignment or an LMS course link. Similarly, you return to your last page view when you open an eTextbook in the Pearson+ app .

- Open the Table of Contents — Select from the menu.
- Go to a chapter, section, or subsection —
Each entry shows its print book page number. Select a chapter, section, or subsection name in the Contents. You can also drill down to named pages, such as About the Author. -
Show subsections — Select in the Contents.
- Show bookmarks or recent pages —
In some eTextbooks, you can select Bookmarks or Recent for up to three recently visited pages in the current session.
- Go to a specific print book page — In the footer of a book page, enter the print page number where it currently shows a page number.
- Go to a previous or next print page —
In the footer of a book page, select the previous or next arrow.
Add bookmarks to easily return to areas in the book. When you reopen an eTextbook, it usually shows the last content you had open.
Add a bookmark — Select from the footer to bookmark the current eTextbook page.
Go to a bookmarked page — Choose one of these options:
- Select from the eTextbook menu, choose Bookmarks to show a list of your bookmarks, then select the one you want.
- When you're signed into Pearson+ in a web browser, select for any of your eTextbooks to open its bookmarks list.
- Next to in the footer, select the down arrow to show a list of your bookmarks, then select the one you want.
Remove one or all bookmarks —
Select the method available in your eTextbook.
- Select for the bookmark you want to delete after you open the Table of Contents and choose Bookmarks. Or select Remove all bookmarks.
- Select or in the footer of a bookmarked page then select for the one you want to delete. Or select Remove all bookmarks.
You can also use the eTextbook search to go to matching content, including book content, notes, flashcards, and Channels videos.
