Create a Pearson account

To create Revel courses, you'll need a Pearson instructor account. You may already an instructor account if you've previously taught using another Pearson product, such as MyLabs or Excel. If you do, you can use it for Revel too.

Otherwise, follow these steps to create an instructor account.

  1. Open the Revel sign in page, and select either Educator (Higher Ed) or Educator (K-12) in the Get started section.
  2. On the Privacy and cookies page, allow some or all cookies used by Pearson and Revel.
  3. Agree to the end user license agreement.
  4. Enter the requested information so Pearson can verify that you are an instructor. Verification usually takes one business day, but may take up to three days during busy periods.

    When your instructor access is verified, you'll receive an email with a link to the Revel sign in page.

    If you don't receive an email after three business days, please contact your Sales Rep to check the status of your request.

View or change Pearson account information

  1. Select your initials in the top right corner of any Revel page, then select Account settings.
  2. Enter your user name and password, then Sign in.
  3. If the Instructor Access field doesn't say "Verified," select Request instructor access.
  4. Check that the Last name and Email fields match your Pearson instructor account. If they don't match, select the pencil icon and update them now.
  5. If you teach at multiple institutions, you can change the institution you want as your default, or delete institutions where you no longer teach.
  6. After you create a course, you can change your default institution, but can't change where you're teaching that course. In addition, you can't remove an institution where you're currently teaching.

  7. Select Save.
