Upgrade from a previous Revel version

Depending on the course materials you select, copying your course may also update your Revel version.

Updated Revel includes:

• Streamlined assignment creation for most users
• Easy preview of the student experience
• New assessment types such as live code, and new learning apps like surveys and simulations
• Easily accessed roster management options
• A new instructor mobile app for fast updates and student check ins

This version also includes new setting defaults. Plan to check settings early to make the best use of them.

Migrate an existing Revel course

1. From the My courses page, select for a course you want to copy.
2. Select Copy Course.
3. Follow the instructions on screen to upgrade.
4. When your new course is ready, select notifications to see a report of what is and isn't copied. For example, assignments are copied, but not their due dates.
