Manage the Live queue

The Live queue lets you assemble questions to deliver to your students. You can prepare a Live queue before class, and add or remove questions during class.

Typically, you deliver questions from the Live queue one at a time, but you can group questions to deliver at the same time. Students can answer grouped questions in any order.

You can also create question folders, add questions to them, then add the folder to the queue.

After you send questions to students, you can add questions to the queue, but can't remove, rearrange, or group questions you've already sent.

From the Question bank, choose questions or folders to add to the Live queue:

  1. Optionally filter which questions or folders to display:
    • Select a label in the left column to show only questions or folders with that label.
    • Enter text in the search box to show only questions or folders containing that text.
  2. Add questions or folders to the Live queue:
    • Drag individual questions or folders from the Question bank into the Live queue.
    • Select questions or folders and either drag them into the Live queue or choose Add to queue .

Questions and folders you add to the queue are flagged in the Question bank.

To group questions:

  1. In the Live queue, select a question, then Shift+Click to select more questions.
  2. Select the group icon Folder with a plus icon to indicate groups.

To remove questions from a group:

  • Select a question, then the ungroup icon Folder with minus icon to indicate ungrouping.

To remove all questions from a group:

  • Select the line that contains the group name, then select the ungroup icon Folder with minus icon to indicate ungrouping.

Questions you remove from a group remain in the Live queue.

To change the order of questions, folders, or groups in the Live queue, select the item and then select the up or down arrow Up and down arrow icons or the slide icon.

To remove questions from the queue:

  • Select a question, then the delete icon .

To remove all questions in the queue:

  • Select the 3-dot menu for Live queue, then select Clear queue.

Questions you remove from the Live queue still appear in the Question bank.

Use the open Arrow icon for opening the live queue and close Arrow icon for closing the live queue icons at the bottom of the Live queue to show or hide it.
