Use Live Response in your LMS

You can integrate Live Response into a learning management system (LMS), such as Blackboard, Canvas, or Brightspace.

  1. Create a course for Live Response in your LMS.

    You cannot add Live Response to a LMS course that is already paired with another Pearson course.

  2. Open your LMS course and add the Pearson link, if necessary.

    See the help for your LMS for information on adding the Pearson link.

  3. Select the Pearson link.
  4. Under Find new content, search for and select Live Response Live Response logo.
  5. Choose Select.
  6. Add a display name for students and set dates for availability.
  7. Select Continue to add Live Response to your course content.

You can manually or automatically import student grades from Live Response into your LMS gradebook. Imported grades show each student's overall LR score, as a percentage of all possible points.

  1. Open Live Response by selecting the Pearson link.
  2. Select Grade sync to enable grade sync.
  3. Authorize access to your Pearson account.
  4. Choose how to sync grades.
