Stop a session

Don't forget to click Stop session to allow student scores to be reported to the Learning Catalytics gradebook.

If this session is part of a Mastering course, you can optionally transfer scores to the Mastering Gradebook and to students' Scores pages.

When you stop the session:

  • Scores are sent to the Learning Catalytics Gradebook.
  • If you have enabled Gradebook Transfer in the module's settings, scores are transferred to your Pearson course gradebook.
  • If you have allowed students to review their results (module setting), and if any review delay period has elapsed (course setting), students can review the session's questions, their own responses, and the correct answers.

If you see "Session [number] is in progress" on the Learning Catalytics dashboard, the session is still active.

The maximum possible score for a session is based onlyon the questions that were delivered in that session.
