Assign the same item multiple times in a course

When you select content, you can assign the same item multiple times within the same course. For example, you might want to re-assign an item from the Introduction to Mastering assignment to remind students of how to complete a particular item type.
How to tell whether and where an item has already been assigned
The 
information icon next to the assign/unassign check box of the 
Items page indicates that this item is in another assignment in the same course.
This same icon appears next to the Assign Item button in the item preview window. (To preview an item, select its title on the Items page.)
Select the 
information icon to see the names and due dates/times of the other assignments in which the item is assigned.
Re-assign the item in a different assignment
Follow the same process as you would to select any item for an assignment. The program tracks all locations of an item assigned within the same course, as described above.
