Get your students started with Mastering

Once your course is set up, follow these steps to be sure the course is ready for students and provide them with instructions to get into the course.

1. Make sure your Mastering course is open for enrollment:

   Select Course Settings and choose Open for Enrollment Settings.

2. Locate the course ID for your course.

   View course ID from an open course: The course ID appears below the Get your students started link (top right) on the Course Home.

   The course ID appears in the bottom right of most Mastering pages. It's also shown in the Course Info area when you select Learn more about Mastering (top left) from the Course Home.

   View the course IDs for all of your courses: Select My Courses.

3. Give students the course ID and share instructions to enroll in your course.

As students enroll in your course, their names and email addresses appear in the course Roster.
