Assess student results for learning outcomes

You can examine student results for all learning outcomes that are associated with assigned items in the course you are viewing.

- Open the Gradebook by selecting Gradebook from either the course menu or from the Course Home (Gradebook link in the Mastering Performance area).
- Select Learning Outcomes Summary.
Learning outcomes appear when there are students enrolled in the course.Due date order of the Learning OutcomesLearning outcomes are listed by assignment due date to help you track student progress throughout the semester. Select any column heading to sort data by that column.
Pooled assignments and learning outcomesThe outcomes and results shown are based on the items assigned from each pool in the assignment. In a pooled assignment, each student is given only a random subset of items from each assignment pool. See Pooled assignments: Create question pools.
- To show only My Learning Outcomes, select the check box for Hide Provided Learning Outcomes.
- To show the assignments and items associated with the outcome, select for a learning outcome.
For each item, Mastering reports the % complete for each learning outcome, and the % average score for all students who have completed the item.
- Show the Student View of the assignment - Select any assignment title to see the items in the assignment and more.
- Show the Student Data View for an item - Select any item link to see how students responded to the item.
Print or export learning outcomes and results to use in other programs.
