Find or create foods
On the Diet page, in 1. Find or create food and add to diet, you can:

- Search for a food:
- Select Search and type a food name to find a food in the MyDietAnalysis database.
- Select a filter from the Limit search to list to see only foods that match the filter.
- Select the Info icon to see nutritional details for each food in your search results.
- Select one or more foods from the search results to add to your diet.
- Select the meal where you want to add them, then Add to diet.
The selected foods appear in the Add days and refine Diet card. After you select a food, you can add it to another day or meal in fewer steps using Quick select.

- Select Create food, then Create new food.
- Enter the food name, serving unit, weight unit, and as much additional nutrient information as you can. Select Save food. The new food appears in your My foods list.

- Select Create recipe, then Create new recipe.
- Enter the recipe name and number of servings, then Save recipe.
- Search for recipe ingredients by name, brand or description. Select ingredient(s) from the search results.
- Select Add to recipe, then Save recipe again. The recipe appears in your My recipes list.

- Select a recipe's Info icon to display its ingredients.
- Select the Info icon next to each ingredient to see its nutritional information.

- Select Create recipe to display My recipes.
- Select the recipe that you want to edit, then select Edit at the bottom of the page.
On the same page, in 2. Add days and refine diet, you can:

- Select a food you created or found in the database, then select the meal when you plan to consume the food.
- Select Add to diet. The food appears under the meal you selected.

- Select + in the tab bar. Continue selecting + to add up to seven days total. If you want to track additional days, create another profile.
- Select the edit icon if you want to change the name of a day

- Select a food, then Add to days.
The added food appears in Day 1 the first time you do this.
- Add food to subsequent days using Add to other days.

- Select a food, then select a serving size from the menu in the Unit column.

- Select a food. The day(s) where you added the food appear highlighted.
- Select Delete.

- Select any day's edit icon, then type a new name.
