Email selected students

You can send email to the entire class or you can search for students based on specified criteria and then email only these students.

  1. From the Manage grades page, select Search/Email by Criteria from the More Tools list.
  2. Optionally select a content area to search.
  3. Select search criteria:
    • Choose Overall score to list students based on a specified overall score or range of scores.
    • Choose Category averages to list students based on their current grade in selected assignment categories, including Extra Practice ("Study Plan").
    • Choose Assignment performance to list students based on their scores on one or more selected assignments.
    • Choose Work activity to list students who have not done certain types of work within a specified time frame.
    • Choose Name to pick individual students from the list.
  4. Select Search to list all students who match your search criteria.
  5. Optionally uncheck a student's name to exclude the student from the email list.
  6. Select Email Selected to compose the email and send it.
  7. Optionally select Export Selected to download a CSV file containing your search results.
