Answer multiple-choice questions with JAWS
You can use the JAWS screen-reader software to answer multiple-choice questions presented in the standard player.
To answer multiple-choice questions using JAWS
- Use JAWS to read the question and the choices.
- Enter INSERT+F5 to open the form field list.
- Go to the top of the form field list.
- Read and select your answer choice from the form field list using the up and down arrow keys.
- Use the Enter key to select your answer.
- If you are doing an activity:
- Select Check Answer.
- Listen to the feedback telling whether the answer is correct or incorrect.
- If the answer is incorrect, enter a different answer and select Check Answer. If you need some help, select a learning aid.
You are allowed a limited number of attempts. If you reach the limit before entering the correct answer, you can no longer enter an answer. You will hear both the correct and incorrect answers when you reread the question.
- If the answer is correct, you will hear the answer when you reread the question.
- Work on another question by selecting Next or Previous from the form field list.
- If you are doing an activity and you want to finish the activity at a later time, select Save from the form field list. When you return to the activity, your answers will be reloaded into the player, and you can continue from where you left off.
- When you finish, select Submit from the form field list.
