Graph straight lines

You can plot a line between two coordinates using the grapher.
Plot a line
- Select the line tool.
- Click or tap in the graph to locate the first coordinate.
- Move to the second coordinate and click or tap.
Your completed line displays and is selected.
Select a line and a point
Use the selection tool to select a line or a point:
- When a line is selected, it turns orange.
- When a point is selected, it changes to a blue bullseye/double circle.
Change a line/point
To move a selected line, either:
- Drag the selected line to a new position.
- Press Shift plus an arrow key to move the selected line up, down, left, or right.
To change a selected point, either:
- Drag the point to a new position.
- If your instructor allows, select Edit Coordinates to enter the new coordinates, and select Submit.
To remove a selected line, press Delete on your keyboard or select Delete in the tool palette.
