Step 3: Create groups

1. Specify whether the MyLab is to Display review names to peer-group members. Select Yes to show the members' names to all group members. Select No to not show the names (the MyLab then identifies the group members as Student 1, Student 2, and so on).
2. Select the Number of students in each group from the drop-down list (the minimum is two).

   Tip: Keep your groups at a manageable size. Each group member reviews the documents of all other members in his or her group.

3. Click the Create Groups button.

   The MyLab randomly assigns students to the groups and displays the Step 3: Add/Edit groups page.

If you have already saved a peer-review or collaboration assignment's group setup as a template, you can use it to create the groups for this assignment. (A template defines the number of groups, which students are in which group, and whether you want the group members' names displayed to other members of the group.) To use one of your templates:

1. Select the template you want to use from the Template Name drop-down list.

   The MyLab displays the template's settings.

2. Click the Use Template Group button.

   The MyLab sets up the groups according to the template's specifications and displays the Step 3: Add/Edit groups page.
