Step 2: Select exercises

You use this page when creating or editing a skill-building assignment and selecting the exercise sets that will appear in the assignment.

There are three panels on this page: Resources, Available Exercises, and Assigned Exercises. You use all three panels to select the exercises.

To select the skill-building exercises:

1. Do the following in the Resources panel:
   1. Expand a Resource to list its topic groups.
   2. Expand a topic group to list its topics.
   3. Click a topic to list its exercises in the Available Exercises panel.

   An asterisk (*) next to an available exercise means that the exercise has questions that require a written response that you must grade manually.

   

2. (Optional) Click the title of an Available Exercise to preview its questions and answers.
3. Drag and drop the Available Exercises you want to the Assigned Exercises slots.

   Point to an exercise's white space to grab it for the drag and drop.

   

4. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to select all exercises you want to include in this assignment.
5. (Optional) Drag and drop the Assigned Exercises to change their order.
6. Click the Continue button to go on to the next page.
