Use this procedure to edit the course title, section title, course start and end dates, and the course time zone.
To edit the course details:
The Settings page is displayed.
The Course Details page opens.
Edit the title for your course: The course title is displayed in the course to both instructors and students.
Edit the section name for your course: The section name is also displayed in the course to both instructors and students.
Edit the Course Start Date: By default this is the same date that students have access to the course. However, you can change the student access date; see Edit student access properties.
Edit the Course End Date: When selecting the end date, keep in mind that Pearson archives a course at 11:59 p.m. on its end date. You can, however, still access an archived course. (Students' access to your course is dictated by the course start date and the end date of their access code. Because an access code is valid for 12 months, students can continue to work in a course as long as their access code is valid, which may be past the course's end date.)
Edit Time Zone: Select the time zone for the course. Also see Your course's time zone for information on how the time zone affects assignment due dates and late submissions in the Gradebook.
