When creating, copying, or linking to a course, you use this page to set the student access properties. These properties determine when students have access to the course and whether they need a password.
Course Available to Students: This option controls whether or not students can join the course. For example, you may want to block students from joining the course until you have a chance to customize it. Select Yes to allow students to join the course; select No to block them from joining the course. (Once students have joined the course you cannot block their access.)
Require Course Password: A password provides an extra level of security. Some instructors use a password to ensure that only their students enter the course. (Requiring a password is optional.) If you select Yes, also enter the Course Password.
