Clear a Score Causing an Alert

When a student has tried, or exhausted, all resources and not yet mastered a topic, the MyLab posts an alert for that student in the Alerts report. You can clear that score, which allows the student to work through the exercises again.

To clear a score causing an alert:

  1. Click the Gradebook tab.
  2. Click Alerts.

In the report, the Skill column displays the topic that is triggering the student's alert.

  3. Click the topic (in the Skill column) for which you want to clear the student's score(s).

The MyLab opens a separate window that lists the exercises that the student was unable to master.

  4. Do one of the following:
  5. Click the Reset Exercises button.

    The MyLab clears the alert(s).
