Display performance information

The detailed performance data t gives you an overview of how students are performing. Performance is summarized and calculated for activities, readiness check pre-tests, and readiness check post-tests that you specify on the Preferences > Grading page or when you customize your notifications.

To view detailed performance information, click Detailed Performance from Today's View. Then select one of the following tabs:

At the top of the Performance page, you can view the following details:

To choose performance calculation criteria:

  1. Go to the Today's View page.
  2. Click Customize.
  3. Select from the following Performance settings:
  4. Click Save and Close.

To remove performance data, clear that statistic's checkbox. If you choose to hide one or both notifications, the class and folder average columns still appear in the gradebook.

To remove performance statistics and also remove the columns from the gradebook, clear the Enable folder level calculations for Gradebook and Performance channel option on the Preferences > Grading page.

Course Performance

Course Performance displays the average course performance at the folder (chapter) level and individual activity or readiness check level. You can view overall course performance and determine where students are under-performing.

From the Notifications channel, click Course Performance to display the following details:

Clicking Student Performance displays a performance report for an individual enrolled and active student in the course with the following details:

Options menus

Use the student or activity options menu to access additional options from each Performance page. These can include any of the following:

Open the gradebook.

View Submissions
(available for activities and student names)

Open the View Submissions window.

View Study Plan results report
(available for readiness checks)

Open the study plan results report and display the results.

Open in Course Materials
(not available for student names)

Go to the Course Materials page, where the asset is highlighted for you.

Preview
(available for activities and readiness checks)

Preview the asset as it appears to students.

 

Edit Grades
(available for student names)

Open the Edit Grades window.

Make the appropriate edits in the corresponding Grades and Feedback boxes and click Save to update the changes.
