Accept or decline late submissions

MyLab Languages instructors: You can accept or decline submissions that students make after the due date from either the View Submissions window or the Notifications channel's Past Due: Submitted section on the Today's View page. Activity preferences that you set determine whether late submissions are allowed.
MyLab IT instructors: You can accept or decline submissions that students make after the due date either from the View Submissions window or from the Past Due: Submitted section on the Course Home > Notifications page. Asset preferences you set determine whether late submissions are allowed.
If you accept a submission, it is graded as a normal "on-time" submission and the score appears in the gradebook. If you reject a submission, the student receives a zero in the gradebook.
Use the expand (+) and collapse (-) icons to browse late submissions.
Teaching assistants must have permission to accept late submissions. Use the Preferences > Permissions page to control which functionality is available to teaching assistants. (MyLab Languages only)

- Click Course Home > Notifications (MyLab IT only).
- Locate the activity in the My Course list and select View Submission from its options menu.
- A red clock icon
appears instead of a grade for the past due activity. Click Decline or Accept depending on whether you want to enter a zero (0) in the gradebook or score the submission as usual and then possibly adjust the grade by clicking Edit.
To accept or reject all late submissions for all students, click Accept All Submissions or Decline All Submissions in the View drop-down list located in the top-left corner of the View Submissions window.

- Click Today's View.
- In the Notifications channel, click Past Due: Submitted
Depending on the option selected for the alert, you either see past due submissions listed by student name (default) or by activity name. Select each activity and then click Decline or Accept depending on how you want to grade the late submission.
You can also click Accept Late Submissions or Decline Late Submissions on an individual activity's options menu.

- Click Course Home > Notifications.
- Under Alerts, click Past Due: Submitted
