Set Copy Content preferences

Updated 19 Feb 2024

Use the Preferences > Copy Content page to determine which course materials you can copy between the courses in which you are enrolled. You can set preferences that let you copy materials to and from the Course Materials Library, Question Bank, and My Course sections of your course or from a Pearson-provided shared library.

If you enable copying, you can navigate to other courses (from the same Pearson course URL) in which you are enrolled and copy and paste materials into your current course or into another course in which you are enrolled.

You may not be able to copy materials between all of your courses. See Use the Change Source menu to copy materials for more details.

The Preferences pages are never available to teaching assistants. (MyLab Languages only)

  1. Click Today's View or Course Materials > Add From Library or Course Materials > Manage Course Materials.
  2. Click the preferences icon .
  3. Close the Basic Preferences dialog box that appears.
  4. Click Copy Content in the Instructor column.
