Add question hints

You can enter up to three hints while you are creating or editing a question. Students can view the question hints when they attempt to answer the question.

1. Do one of the following tasks:
   1. If you are adding a question, click the Hints section after you add it. Go to step 2.
   2. If you are editing a question, click the options menu icon to the left of the question you want to edit, click Edit, and the click the the Hints section.
2. Enter any hints you want to include with your question. You can enter up to three hints.
3. To format hint text, click the Edit button to open the content editor. If audio is enabled for your course, you can also record a hint.
