Record audio

When enabled, you can use the audio feature to record messages instead of typing them. You can also listen to student's recordings of assignments and provide feedback.

The audio features lets you and students:

• Start a new recording.
• Pause and then continue recording a current recording.
• Stop/end recording.
• Delete recording.
• Play recordings.
• Fast forward and rewind recordings.
• Save recordings.

With this feature, you can:

• Record audio comments and feedback.
• Record audio answer choices.
• Record audio in HTML pages created with the content editor.
• Record feedback to student for a specific question or for an entire assessment.
• Enable audio discussions.

Students can:

• Record audio question responses.
• Listen to instructor feedback while viewing their submission.

1. Click the Record Audio button on the content editor toolbar. If you are not using the content editor, click the available Record button.
2. Click the record button (red circle) to begin recording. Click the stop button (black square) when you finish the recording.
3. Click Save and Close.

   An audio player is inserted.

4. To re-record or play back the audio message, click the Play button.
