Create an Account
Your Pearson account gives you access to Pearson online courses and products. An account includes your:
- Signin and personal information
- Security question and answer
- License agreement consent
- Preference about receiving special email notices from Pearson
Add Your Signin and Personal Information
- Enter your email address.
- Your email address appears as your default username to make it easier to remember. If you want a different username, enter one that is at least six characters long.
- Enter a new password and then enter it again for confirmation.
Make sure your password meets the guidelines that appear in the help popup. If your password meets a guideline, a

- Enter your first and last names.
Add Your Security Question and Answer
When you contact Pearson Support for assistance with your Pearson account, you'll be asked the identity security question you choose. This ensures the privacy of your username, password, and other account information. You'll need to give the answer you entered during registration to the Support representative.
To add the identity security question and answer:
- Select a security question with an answer that you'll easily remember but is not commonly known.
- Enter the answer to the security question.
Accept the License Agreement
To register, you must accept the Pearson License and Privacy Agreement.
To accept the license agreement:
- Read the license agreement. Either use the scrollbars to look through the agreement online or click license agreement to make a printed copy.
- Click I accept the license agreement.
Note: If you're concerned about providing your personal contact information to Pearson, you can register anonymously.
Choose How Pearson Contacts You
Select the I want to help improve Pearson products and learn about new offers check box if you want Pearson to send you emails about:
- Pearson products and services that may help you succeed in your course
- Opportunities to participate in product reviews and usability studies to help improve Pearson products
- Special offers and discounts
Pearson recognizes the importance of protecting your personal information and doesn't share customer information with third-party companies for product marketing purposes.
Note: Even if you choose not to participate in Pearson’s customer outreach program, we may still send you emails about system availability, such as planned downtimes.
Finish Creating the Account
Click Create Account. Your username and a notification that your account was created successfully appear on the next page.
Note: If you cancel your registration after creating a new account, you can use your new username and password when you start the registration again.
