Adding Resources to Products

You search for and select resources to add them to a product.

To search for resources to add to a product:

  1. From the Manage Product page, click the Resources tab.
  2. Search for the resource you want to add.
  3. Select the check boxes of all resources you want to add to the product. Click Next or Previous to page through the list.
  4. To add the selected resources to the product, click Add. The Set Resource Options page appears.
  5. If the product was set up as an Individual Subscription (not an Institutional Subscription) and it is the first time you are adding a resource to the product, you must set the default expiration for the product's resources.
  6. If the resource can only be accessed by the instructor, select to Restrict to instructor-only check box, then click OK.
  7. The Add Resource to Live Product dialog appears. If you want to add subscriptions to this resource for existing users, select the check box. Click OK.

    If there is a software fix and you want the fix to go to both existing and new users, click this check box. If you don't select the check box, the fix would only go to new users.

    The resources you added and associated details, such as names and restrictions, appear under Resources. A Check mark image appears next to each resource in the results list you added. RADmin automatically saves your changes when you leave the page.

Tip: To go to the Manage Resource page where you can view or change resource details, click a resource's internal name or resource ID. To search for another resource, go to step 2. To remove a resource, click .
