Adding Consumer Product Information

You can add information about a product that appears to users of Pearson websites and applications.

To add login and image URLs:

  1. Click the Login and Image URLs arrow to display the options.
  2. In the Login URL box, type the web address of the landing page where users sign in to navigate to the digital assets protected by the resource.

    Note: The Login URL might be the same web address as the Digital Asset URL.

  3. In the Image URL box, type the external web address of the products resource's cover or branding image.

To add series information:

Series information would include for example, the My MathLab series as the Reporting Series and a Marketing branding (it could be a visual icon, door opening for My MathLab).

  1. Click the Series Information arrow to display the options.
  2. From the Reporting Series, select from the list.
  3. From the Branding Series, select from the list.

To add display information and select a language:

  1. Click the Display Information arrow to display the options.
  2. Click the Default Language arrow to display the options.
  3. From the Product Display Name box, enter the name of the product that you want users to see while registering for a product and in the shopping cart.
  4. In the Short Description box, enter a 512 character or less short description of the product as it appears to users.
  5. In the Long Description box, enter a 1024 character or less description of the product as it appears to users.
  6. From the Display Language list, select the language in which the consumer product information appears to users.
  7. From the Default list, select Yes or No if you want the selected language to be the default language.
  8. Tip: If you want to associate additional languages with the product, click Add.
