Companion Website quizzes can include one or more essay questions that look like this:

The essay question may appear above the text box, or may appear within the text box where you answer the question. You can change question text that appears in the box. Essay questions may also include a hint or a link to your Companion Website's associated textbook.

The Companion Website grader does not automatically grade essay questions. Instead, your instructor receives the text of your essay when you submit quiz results.
