Quizzes

With the exception of essay questions, quiz questions are graded automatically. (Your instructor can see your essay questions and answers, and can grade the quiz if your site has Gradebook/Grade Tracker.)

To take a quiz:

1. Navigate to the quiz you want to take.
2. Answer each question.
3. If a quiz answer requires a special character, such as an accented letter, click the Special Characters link to insert it. For more information, refer to Using special characters.
4. When you finish answering the questions, click the Submit Answers for Grading button at the bottom of the page.

Depending on the features of the Companion Website, one of the following occurs:

• Your grades are automatically sent to your instructor if your site has Results Reports, Grade Tracker or Gradebook.

• You email your results to your instructor. For more information, refer to Emailing quiz results to your instructor.
