Email Address

If you are a new user, you will receive an email that contains the password for your trial subscription. If you already have a Pearson account and entered your login name and password under Do you have a Pearson Education account, you do not need to enter your email address.

To provide your email address:

In the Email box, enter a valid email address if you do not already have a Pearson account.

You can use these symbols: @ (at sign) . (period) - (hyphen/dash) _ (underscore). Do not use spaces, other characters or symbols, or non-English characters (such as é). For additional guidelines, see Acceptable Characters.

Important: If your email address contains unsupported characters, you will not receive communications from Pearson or emails from your instructor. You can create a new email account as described below.

If you do not have a valid email address:

• Contact your school's technology center to find out if they can give you an email account using the school's domain (for example, yourname@yourcollege.edu).
• Set up a free email account from websites such as www.gmail.com, www.hotmail.com, or www.yahoo.com. To do this, open a new browser window, go to the website, and create a new email account.
