To sign in to Writer for the first time, follow the Register instructions below and then sign in.
Register
If you're using Pearson Writer for the first time, you need to:
- Have an access code or a credit card to purchase access online
- Create a Pearson Education account or use your existing account
- Accept the License Agreement and Privacy Policy
Free access
Any enrolled student can get free access to Pearson Writer for 30 days through the site learner.pearson.com
- Go to learner.pearson.com. Scroll down until you see a link for Pearson Writer.
- Select Try it for free.
- Fill in the form to get access.
Ordinary registration
- Go to learner.pearson.com. Scroll down until you see a link for Pearson Writer.
- Select Try it for free.
- Choose Student or Educator.
- Select Yes, I have an access code.
- Select I Accept after reading the License Agreement and Privacy Policy.
- Create an account or enter your account details, then enter your access code.
Student
- Select No, I need to buy access.
- Select the subscription length you'd like to purchase, 6 months, 12 months, 24 months, or 48 months.
- Select I Accept after reading the License Agreement and Privacy Policy.
- Create an account or enter your account details, then sign into or create your account.
- Enter your billing address and payment details, then select Place Order.
- Review the confirmation page, then select Log In Now.
Educator:
- Select No, I need to request access.
- Read the Terms of Use agreement then select I agree. Proceed to request form.
- Fill out the request form then select Submit your request.
Pearson will contact you via email about your request.
You can now register for Pearson Writer through the App Store or Google Play.
- Search for Pearson Writer in Google Play or the App Store.
- In Google Play, select Install. In the App Store, select Get.
- On the desktop, sign in through PearsonWriter.com or your usual Pearson portal.
- On your mobile device, sign in via the mobile Pearson Writer app. To sign out, tap the gear icon, Settings, then Logout.
- Get the MS Word Add-In.
- Sign in with your Pearson username and password.
- Use the Word Add-In with Pearson Writer.
