Use Microsoft Word with Pearson Writer
Pearson Writer is available as an add-in for Microsoft Word™ 2013 and 2016 and Office 365™.
- Allow all third-party cookies in your browser.
- Remove pop-up blockers.
- Your default browser must be:
- Chrome 13 or later
- Safari 5.0.6 or later
- Firefox 5 or later
- Edge latest
- Sign in to the Microsoft Word Add-in with your Pearson username and password.
- Select the project you want to work on.
- Select Outline, Notes, or Sources.
- To add your outline, thesis, notes, or sources to your Word document select Add Item.
- Select Guide to search a comprehensive database of writing help that includes examples, text and media explanations, and self-assessments to help you learn more about research, writing, and grammar topics.
- A current issue may prevent use of the Add-in with Word on your computer. Until this is resolved, consider using the Add-in with Office 365.
You can use most Pearson Writer features in the Microsoft Word Add-in. However, you have to be signed in to Pearson Writer to create and delete new projects, create outlines, and create groups of notes.
