Customize the student home page

If your course uses the Instructor Home page, you can customize the student home page or manage student announcements.

1. Open Home page settings:
   • In MyLab and Mastering courses, select Manage View > Manage Course Home from the top of your Instructor Home page. Or, select Manage announcements and student homepage from your Instructor Home page.
   • In MathXL or MathXL for School courses, Choose Course Home Manager from the menu and select the Home Page Settings tab.
2. Choose home page options:
   • Calendar Options: Select the time period for which to view the calendar.
   • Progress Options:
     • Show or hide the student's overall score.
     • Set a minimum completion score for moving assignments from the Current Assignments section to the Completed Assignments section.
   • Announcement Options: Show or hide announcements from Pearson.
   • Instructor Home: Optionally use the student home as the default instructor home page.
     When you frequently share your screen with students, select Student Home to go to the student home when you enter your course. From the student home, you can select View Instructor Home.
