Reset or change passwords

You and your students can change your Pearson password after you sign in to your course:

• MathXL and MathXL for School: Select your name in the top right and choose Edit Account.
• MyLab and Mastering: Select your name in the top right and choose Account.

1. Go to the sign-in page for your course:
   • For MyLab and Mastering: https://mlm.pearson.com/.
   • For MathXL: https://www.mathxl.com/.
2. Under Sign In, select Forgot username or password?
3. Enter the email address for your Pearson account.
4. Follow the link in the email.

You can change passwords for active students after the initial registration without the original passwords. You can reset the password for an individual student or upload a CSV file to reset the passwords for multiple students.

1. In your Gradebook, select More Tools > Edit Roster.
2. On the Edit Roster page, select Reset Student Passwords.
3. On the Reset Student Passwords page, either:
   • Choose an individual student in the table and select Reset.
   • Upload passwords for multiple students by selecting Upload Student Passwords. Follow the instructions to download a template containing your students' names, fill in their new passwords, and submit a CSV file.

You might be able to find current students' passwords if your students were registered through MathXL for School’s batch registration service. Refer to the student information spreadsheet to find registration passwords.

Using an LMS? Reset or change your password from your learning management system if you work in Blackboard, Canvas, D2L Brightspace, Moodle, Sakai, or Schoology.
