Take tests
Updated 02 Nov 2022
Different types of tests are offered in your program. In most cases, you take an assigned test, but you might also take practice tests or Study Plan Quiz Me quizzes to prepare for a real test.
There are two kinds of assigned tests:
- Standard tests with a predetermined number of questions.
In a standard test, an instructor chooses the questions on the test and everyone taking the test answers the same questions.
- Adaptive tests with only as many questions as needed.
In adaptive tests, an instructor chooses only the concepts that the test needs to cover. The test offers questions based on those concepts and adjusts the difficulty of the questions in response to your answers.
For instructions on how to take assigned tests, see Take assigned tests. For information on doing practice tests, see Take practice tests.
