Resume or retake an incomplete test or quiz

If you leave an assigned test or quiz without selecting Submit, it's incomplete. You might need your instructor's permission to resume.
- Open the incomplete test/quiz.
- If available, select Start a new test to begin a new test attempt. The test must allow multiple attempts, with at least one remaining.
- Select Finish the Test to resume and submit the test. If your instructor allows multiple attempts, resuming an attempt doesn't count as a new attempt.
- If you're not allowed back into the test, ask your instructor for permission.
- Select Submit test after you finish.
Save a test for later
In some cases, for example when you do practice tests, you can select Save for Later to save your test and work on it later. When you return, you can't access any previously answered questions.
