Resume or retake an incomplete test or quiz

If you leave an assigned test or quiz without selecting Submit, it's incomplete. You might need your instructor's permission to resume.

Resume or retake

1. Open the incomplete test/quiz.
   • Select Finish the Test to resume and submit the test. If your instructor allows multiple attempts, resuming an attempt does not count as a new attempt.
   • If available, select Start a new test to retake as a new test attempt. The test must allow multiple attempts, with at least one remaining.
   • If you're not allowed back into the test, ask your instructor for permission.
2. Select Submit test after you finish.

Save test for later

In some cases, like practice tests, you can select Save for Later to save your test and work on it later. When you return, you cannot access any previously answered questions.
