Change assessment questions

You can add, change, or remove assessment questions until students start work on the assessment.

You can also change question options, such as due date and time, from the options menu.

From the assessment's summary page, you can:

  1. Select a question title in the question list.
  2. Select Edit.
  3. Change any part of the question: title, background information, wording, correct answer, number of answers, or answer order.
  4. Select one answer as the correct answer.
  5. Lock question answers in a specific order if you want. For example, you might lock "all of the above" as the final option.
  6. Preview the edited question to see it as students do, then Save the question. The word (edited) appears after the question's number, so you can identify questions you changed.
  7. Select X to return to the assessment summary, then Save to save the edited assessment.

Select a question's options menu , then Remove, Move up or Move down.

  • After you change questions or other assessment settings and then Save, the Revert to original button appears on the question summary.
  • Select the button to reinstate the original questions.
