Enter answers for region questions

  1. After you select Region in the Question type list, enter question text. You can use these tools to format the question.
  2. Drop or upload an image to the Drag file here box.
  3. Define a region in the image that you want students to identify:
    • Click the image to add a point, then continue adding points to define an enclosed shape; for example, a square.
    • Add as many points as you need to define the region.
    • Add or drag points to change the region outline.
  4. Optionally, select Add another region to define more regions, then outline each region. Note that touching or overlapping regions may affect answer accuracy.
  5. Select Clear to remove all regions from the image.
  6. If you create more than one region and students must identify all regions to earn credit, select All regions required for correct answer.
  7. Adjust tolerance to allow a larger or smaller area to be considered a correct answer.
