Create a student account for Learning Catalytics

You need to create a student account before you can access and participate in a Learning Catalytics session.

If you are enrolled in a Pearson MyLab and Mastering (MLM) course with access to the eTextbook and you've crossed over from the MLM course into Learning Catalytics, you're ready.

  1. Go to the Learning Catalytics website.
  2. Click the Register icon.
  3. Select the Student tab.
  4. Select Yes, I'm using Learning Catalytics with a MyLab or Mastering product
  5. Select your MyLab and Mastering product.
  6. Follow the instructions to select your course.

To register with an access code when you're not using an MLM product

  1. Go to the Learning Catalytics website.
  2. Click Register .
  3. Select the Student tab.
  4. Select No, I'm not using Learning Catalytics with a MyLab and Mastering product.
  5. Select Yes, I have an access code.
    Your instructor provides you with the access code. An access code is a series of letters that looks something like this: SWCDLF-ACDCA-DIVAN-JABOT-PLUMBS
  6. Read and Accept the License Agreement and Privacy policy.

    The Access Information page is displayed.

  7. Do one of the following, depending on whether you already have a Pearson Education account:
    • Click Yes if you already have an account for any Pearson product.
      If you're not sure whether you have an account, click the link and enter your email address or login name.
    • Click No if you've never created a Pearson account before, and complete the fields to create a new account.
  8. Enter your access code.
  1. Go to the Learning Catalytics website.
  2. Click the Register icon.
  3. Select the Student tab.
  4. Select No, I'm not using Learning Catalytics with a MyLab and Mastering product.
  5. Select No, I would like to buy access.
  6. Select access for 6 months or 12 months.
  7. Read and Accept the License Agreement and Privacy policy.

    The Product Selection page is displayed. Select your product.

  8. Do one of the following, depending on whether you already have a Pearson Education account:
    • Click Yes if if you already have an account for any Pearson product.
      If you're not sure whether you have an account, click the link and enter your email address or login name.
    • Click No if you have never created a Pearson account, and complete the fields to create a new account.
  9. Enter your payment Information.
