Join a Learning Catalytics session

Before you can join a session, create a student account and link it to your course.
To join a Learning Catalytics session
Directly from Learning Catalytics
On the Learning Catalytics home page, choose Log in.
Enter your Username and Password, and then choose Sign in.
On the Welcome! page, do one of the following:
- Enter a session ID that your instructor gives you in class and select Join.
- Choose Review results to check your scores or study a past module.
From a MyLab or Mastering course
If you aren't taken directly to the session, on the Welcome! page, do one of the following:
- Enter a session ID that your instructor gives you in class and select Join.
- Choose Review results to check your scores or study a past module.
From a non-MLM Pearson course
On the Welcome! page, do one of the following:
- Enter a session ID that your instructor gives you in class and select Join.
- Choose Review results to check your scores or study a past module.
If prompted, indicate your seat in the classroom (either enter an alphanumeric ID or choose your seat from the provided map), and choose OK.
During a Learning Catalytics session, your instructor may use the seat map to check which students are having difficulty.
