Manage diet
The Diet page lets you add food and personalize your diet tracker for each profile you create.
Make sure you use the correct profile. On the Profiles page, select the avatar image to choose a profile card. The selected profile shows at the top of the Diet page.
1. Find or create food & add to diet tracker
Use the Find or create food & add to diet tracker pane to search for foods and add them to the diet tracker. After you select a food, you can find it again quickly using Quick select. You can also create new foods and recipes.
- Select the Search tab to search the food database. It has 1.2 million foods and beverages, including brand name and restaurant foods.
- Enter a search term and select
. It’s best practice to:- Use specific keywords.
- Use Search filters to narrow your results.
- In the list, select food to add.
- Optionally, use
to see nutritional details for each food in the list. - In the Select meal to add food list, choose a meal category for the food.
- Select Add to diet tracker.
The food shows in the Add days & personalize diet tracker pane in your selected meal category. After you select a food, you can quickly find and add it to another day or meal using Quick select.
- Select the Quick select tab to search food you added using Search. You can quickly find and add it to another day or meal.
- In the list, select food to add.
- Optionally, use
to see nutritional details for each food in the list. - In the Select meal to add food list, choose a meal category for the food.
- Select Add to diet tracker.
The food shows in the Add days & personalize diet tracker pane in your selected meal category.
- Select the Create food tab.
- Select Create new food to create food not found using Search.
The Create new food page opens.
- Select the Create food tab to see the My food list.
- Find the food to view details.
- In the Info column, select
to view details.
The Basic nutrients page opens.
- Select the Create food tab.
- In the My food list, find the food and select
to edit the food.
The Edit custom food page opens.
- Select the Create food tab to see the My food list.
- Find the food to delete.
- Select
to delete the food.
A confirmation message shows. - Select Delete to remove the food from the My food list.
- Select the Create recipe tab.
- Select Create new recipe to create a new recipe for your diet.
The Create new recipe page opens.
- Select the Create recipe tab to see the My recipe list.
- Find the recipe to view details.
- In the Info column, select
to view details.
The Recipe details page opens.
- Select the Create recipe tab to see the My recipe list.
- Find the recipe to edit.
- In the Edit column, select
to edit the recipe.
The Edit recipe page opens.
- Select the Create recipe tab to see the My recipe list.
- Find the recipe to delete.
- In the Delete column, select
to delete the recipe.
A confirmation message shows. - Select Delete to remove the recipe from the My recipe list.
2. Add days & personalize diet tracker
Use the Add days & personalize diet tracker pane to add more days to the diet tracker. You can also add food to the days you are tracking.
It’s best practice to list all the food for every day you track. Incomplete days affect your report data. Select only the desired days that you want to track when generating reports.
- Select + in the tab bar.
- Continue selecting + to add up to seven days total.
Each day shows as a tab.
- Select a food.
- In the Add food to other days list, select days.
- Enter the amount of food.
- Select Add to days.
An added food shows in Day 1 the first time you add it.
- Select
to edit day tab names. - Select
to save or
to cancel.
- Select a day and a food.
- Select
to delete the food.
