Use sample assignments

Depending on the course and content area, sample homework, tests, and standard assessments may be available for you to copy and assign.

Students do not see sample homework unless you copy and assign it. Sample tests are available in your student's Extra Practice, but you can remove them or specify which tests are available.

  1. Open the Manage Assignments page for the content area.
  2. Under Customize in the list of tasks, select View and Manage All Assignments.
  3. From the Show All list, select either Homework or Quizzes & Tests.

    A list of the sample assignments appears below the list of assignments.

From the Actions list for an assignment, you can preview the assignment, list the questions, or copy and assign it.

  1. Open the Manage Assignments page for the content area.
  2. Under Customize in the list of tasks, select View and Manage All Assignments.
  3. From the Show All list, select Quizzes & Tests.

    A list of the sample tests appears below the list of assignments.

  4. Select Set Availability in the table heading.
  5. Optionally use the filter to display only tests from a module.
  6. In the Available column, select or unselect the tests.
  7. Select Update Availability.
