Search

This search uses the Search control, which is on most MyLab pages.

1. Enter the term to find in the Search text box. (See Search tips for hints on Search terms.)
2. Select Content from the drop-down list.

   To maximize use of auto-fill for the search term, select Content from the drop-down list first, then enter the Search term.

3. Click Go.

   The Search Results are displayed in a new window, listing the found topics.

4. Click a topic's link to go to its asset list in Resources.

2. Select one of the following from the drop-down list:

   Resources to search for all media assets that match the Search text

   Documents to search only the titles of eText or text-based instruction assets

   Video to search only the titles of video, animation, and interactive assets

   Audio to search only the titles of audio and podcast assets

3. Click the Go button.

   The MyLab conducts the search and displays the results. For some browsers, you may need to click Show to display the results.

   The results list the topics and assets found.

4. (Optional) Point to View Icon Key to display the legend for the asset icons.
5. Do either of the following:
   • Click a topic's Open link to open the topic and list its assets in Resources.
   • Click an asset's link to open it in a separate window.

1. Display the Resources page.
2. Click the Search Resources button.
3. Enter the following for the Search Fields:

   Search: Enter the term to find in the text box. A search term narrows the search results to only assets with that term in their title. (See Search tips for hints on Search terms.)

   Section: Select whether you want to search All Sections or a specific section of Resources.

   Topic: Select All Topics, or, if you selected a specific Section, select either All Topics or a specific topic to search.

   Media Type: Choose Select All to search all topic titles or choose one of the following:

   Read to search the titles of document (eText or text-based) instruction assets

   Watch to search the titles of video, animation, and interactive assets

   Listen to search the titles of audio and podcast assets

4. Click the Find Now button.

   The MyLab conducts the search and displays the results.

5. (Optional) Point to View Icon Key to display the legend for the asset icons.
6. Do either of the following:
   • Click a topic's Open link to open the topic and list its assets in Resources.
   • Click an asset's link to open it in a separate window.
7. To run the search again, repeat steps 3 and 4. (For some browsers, you may need to click Show to redisplay the Search Fields.)

2. Click the Search Resources button.
3. Click the Show All button.

   The MyLab conducts the search and displays the results.
